Genetics website launched
IN A bid to help members of the public better understand genetic research, the Genetic Modification Advisory Committee (GMAC) has launched a revamped website.
Surveys done in 2005 showed that only one in five Singaporeans had heard of genetic modification.
The site, which hopes to educate people, is chock-full of information on research into genetically modified organisms as well as their risks and benefits.
Visit www.gmac.gov.sg for more information.
